Jam Jar Studio
Jam Jar Studio is our recording studio, comprising of two live rooms, two control rooms, and one vocal/isolation booth. All the spaces are acoustically treated and networked with both analogue and digital tie lines. Jam Jar Studio hosts three resident producers and engineers who can record, produce, mix and master for any project style. Both control rooms are centred around analogue desks from TL Audio and Midas and we make use of Eve and Adam monitoring, running through Sonarworks Reference 4. Having the capability to record up to 32 channels simultaneously across multiple spaces allows us to keep sound sources truly isolated whilst capturing live performances and overdubs. With mics from Peluso, AKG, Beyerdynamic, Aston, Audio Technica, Shure, Sennheiser and Oktava capturing the front end and the ever-growing arsenal of outboard gear from the likes of Avalon, Drawmer, TL Audio, dbx, Focusrite, Lexicon, TC Electronic and Strymon, there is a wealth of options to explore to bring out the best in your music.
Jam Jar Studio is tucked away within The Jam Jar, nestled amongst a community of creatives with access to a wealth of facilities. Aside from having a kitchen, toilet, shower and bar, The Jam Jar is also used for audio recording, music video shoots and much more. We can accommodate a vast array of productions from voice-overs to large bands and orchestras, live music tv broadcasting and everything in between.
