Private Events


The Jam Jar intermittently caters to private events, including birthday parties, company functions, film screenings, weddings, and even on-location film shoots. With a capacity ranging from 70 seated to up to 240 standing, our venue accommodates diverse event types. For full-service nighttime live music events through private hire, we kindly request a minimum attendance of 70-100 people.

Our license allows us to accommodate events on: 

  • Sunday-Wednesday:  9AM - 12AM 

  • Thursday: 9AM - 1AM 

  • Fridays / Saturdays: 9AM - 2AM

Our Private hire fees start at **£400+VAT and includes: 

  • A premium L-Accoustics PA System / DJ equipment (CDJ 3000s + A9 Mixer) 

  • In-house Sound Engineer

  • Venue staffing (Venue Manager, Bar Staff, SIA, *box office not included in hire price) 

  • Use of lighting kit (to take full advantage of our wide range of lighting available we suggest hiring a Lighting Engineer or bringing one in) 

  • Additional backline available at a fee 

  • Tables and chairs available to hire at a fee

  • We do not provide catering

Daytime Room Hires: 

  • Main Room : Capacity 200, seated 40-70 (depending on configuration) 

  • Hire Fee Dry Hire : £20 p/h*

  • Hire Fee w/ Bar Service : £25 p/h 

  • Hire Fee w/ Bar Service and use of PA System - £30-p/**

*Minimum 4 hour booking 
**No Live Entertainment

Small Room :

  • Capacity: 20 - 35 

  • Hire fee: £12.50 p/h (no bar service)*

*Minimum 2 hour booking
